charging system

i have a 96 suzuki sidekick and need some help on why my alternator will not charge my battery.

Well did you check the wiring system of it.may be some thing is loose there.Do check it or take it to your mechanic.

i have tried to trace the wires but the wires go deep in between the motor and i cant get my hand back there

There might be some loose suzuki auto parts on your sidekick. If that isn't the case, then I think you need to have it replaced asap.
