MXF is a file format for the exchange of programme material between servers, tape streamers and to digital archives. Its contents may be a complete programme as well as complete packages or sequences. There are basic facilities available for cuts between sequences and audio crossfades. Step 3: Click the “Settings” icon and you will go into a new interface named “Profile Settings”. You can adjust codec, bit rate, frame rate, sample rate and audio channel in the interface according to your needs and optimize the output file quality.

Step 4: Click the “Convert” button; it will start the MXF to WMV conversion immediately. You can find the process in the “Conversion” interface.

After the conversion, you will be able to get the output files via clicking on “Open” button effortlessly. Afterwards, you can import MXF/P2 MXF footages to Windows Movie Maker or Media Player for playback or editing at ease.
