Default excessive battery drain

New to the site so i hope im doing this right.
I have a 2007 C90, on my last ride the bike died going down the road at 110 kph, the battery was completely dead, got a boost and after a few minutes of driving it was dead again. I put a new battery in, took it for a short ride and it seemed better. Went for a longer ride and the same thing happened, the battery was drained. after sitting for about an hour it started, however about 5 minutes of riding i noticed everything going dim.
Seems the battery is not charging. not sure what to do now
can anybody help

Weird to see no replies to your query. Was it a faulty stater not charging the battery while driving?
