Default '82 TS185 Carby issues.

Hello everyone! I picked up an old TS185 for a carton the other week and im trying to get her up and running again... First thing, I dont know crap about bikes really... Ive got it to just sorta educate myself at the moment.
Before i had it the cylinder piston.etc was all rebuilt then ive put in a new reed valve. Shes got no oil pump so im guessing Im just mixing the fuel prior to putting it in the tank? Ive got a service manual and thats been my best friend so far.... untill I tried to start it.
It kicks and tries to start but to no avail. I was talking to the guy I got it off and he said try spraying some CRC up the air intake on the carby. I did, and after a few "failed" starts she started and kept going. So thats led me to the carby and something in there isnt getting fuel through propperly. Its a VM32SS carby (i think....).

My manual shows me whats what.... but the problem is theres a few hoses on the diagrams.etc that arnt there, but their ports are.
Heres a few pics.

Sorry about the size....

Notice the only port (bit the hose goes onto... i dont know its name) with a line on it is the fuel line.... i know one or two of the others are from the fuel pump that doesnt exist......

Any ideas what I should do next? Thanks in advance.
