Default 2005 Suzuki Boulevard c90 not starting.

So I'm new on to this forum and I was wondering if I could get some help with my bike. I switched out the handlebars on it and I was waiting on the handle grips to arrive. It was sitting for about a week or 2. We had a flood not too long ago not sure if that would cause the issue. When I finally got the grips in I went to start her up and she started right up, I left it on for a couple of minutes then shut if off. I wanna say about 15 minutes later I tried to start her up again and I heard like a faint pop sound and it wouldn't turn over as if the battery instantly died. I took the battery to AutoZone to get it charged and to check if it's still good. They said it charged up to 82% and that it was good. After installing the battery it would not start up it sounds like the starter was barely turning and like a humming sound. I ran some jumper cables to it and she started right up. I rode her around the block a couples times without no issue. I turned her off tried to start it back up and nothing. Any idea what could be causing this issue? Any info would be greatly appreciated. TIA!!

I'm thinking it might be the stator but idk if I can trust the guys at AutoZone so it might even be the battery itself.

I ordered a Mighty Max (cca 230) from Amazon for $39 + 7 for 4 year warranty. My battery box had a spacer in it that confused me until I found it, but everything fit nicely in the end.
I had to replace the battery because the lead posts melted on the other battery, lose terminal connection. I was noticing a light flickering on my turn signal light, but didn't think anything of it. Now I know.
Just thought I would share my experience.
